We are also grateful to these owners and admins for giving us their best offer, wherein just for signing up, we all got HUGE credits and FREE ad packs for our promotions.
Better still, when we promoted their sites and got referrals, we were also rewarded with more credits and even CASH.
It's really a combined effort, this online marketing thing, or any marketing for that matter.

We really did a lot of research and testing.

Bamboos are a group of woody perennial evergreen plants in the true grass family Poaceae. Some of its members are giants, forming by far the largest members of the grass family. There are 91 genera and about 1,000 species of bamboo. They are found in diverse climates, from cold mountains to hot tropical regions.
In knowing that, we become even more fascinated by the bamboo plant, even as we chose it as our blog background for sometime now, and will probably continue to do so.
Business will test your mettle as a person and as a human being. We can all take a cue from the strong, tall, and yet flexible bamboo plant.
Where others snap with the force of the wind, the bamboo merely sways with it -- so vert Zen; so very Tao.
It just shows brittleness cannot possibly survive.
Of course, we've seen bamboo thrashed by heavy winds and rains, too, but that is the exception.
More often than not, the bamboo survives and persists. It just keeps growing, too.
Its evergreen trunk and leaves provide healing balm to your tired eyes and spirit.
Its body provide you furniture, flooring, shelter, and ornamentation.
Just like the sturdy coconut tree, it seems every part of the bamboo plant can be put to good use, whether outer or inner.
Surely, the panda knows something we don't as it nourishes itself with the leaves and maybe the shoots (and of course, we're guessing with the latter).
How can something so strong be so pliant and resilient?
We surely can learn from the qualities of this plant.
May our businesses and ventures be bamboo-like, strong, and resilient.
May our ventures remember to respect nature and others.
May we all bend and not break.
May we all continue to thrive and survive in the midst of storms and sunshine.
May we stand tall like the bamboo plant and yet provide safety and shelter for others like a bamboo grove where one is inclined to take shelter in -- away from the crowd. Away from the heat, and into its quiet and healing fold, like a mother's arms gently enfolding you.
Nature truly has much to teach us in terms of being kind, warm, giving, loving, generous, and civilized.
As such, our bamboo image will continue to grace our Band of Banners blog.

When you're a salesman, marketer, and entrepreneur, you tend to experiment a lot. You've got to be made of sturdy stuff for there are no assurances that your programs will work, that people will buy, or that you'll make a cent at all. Thus, it takes a lot of courage, compassion, and creativity. Sometimes, we may wonder if we ought to be doing something else instead considering the load of work to do.
Anyway, here are the essentials in order to make it as an entrepreneur:
Courage, because you've got to be brave in facing many unknowns.
Clarity, because you've got to have clear goals.
Compassion, because we're all in this together.
Creativity, because you've got to think up a storm.
Consistency, because you've got to show up at work each day.
Do you have all that in you?

Back in 17 September 2017, we stumbled upon the JV (Mr. Lessing says it stands for "Joint Venture") sites and found them to be great membership sites when you wish to wet your feet in the marketing pool.
It was such a cool and FREE way of marketing our programs as we also learned along the way. Where else can you join membership sites and yet get paid $5 for signing up?

We were all newbies once -- got burned a LOT of times -- then we came across a very important statement from veteran online marketer, Brad Webb of State-of-the-Art Mailer.
He said something about "building up your traffic resources first".
And that got us thinking.
In the absence of a really GREAT program, we thought we might as well build up the traffic first.
So we got into a LOT of programs like you wouldn't believe.
After which, we got organized and started this blog.
It started growing organically -- one thought led to another.

Funny, everyone else said it was "traffic".
To succeed in marketing, they said, you had to have lots of traffic.
In our case, it wasn't so much traffic as WHICH program to promote?
There were many programs but nothing that really grabbed us.
So what did we do after all that research?
We created our own.
Band of Banners was it.
